Located in the heart of Wellington's vibrant CBD, Creamy & Crunchy is a charming café that invites you in with its cozy atmosphere and innovative vegan offerings. Situated at 50 Webb Street, this delightful spot is not just a coffee and tea shop; it’s a haven for matcha lovers and those seeking unique plant-based delights.

Step inside this intimate café, and you’re greeted by the warm smiles of the friendly staff, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for casual meetings or a quiet moment alone. The décor is minimalist yet comforting, making it a perfect nook for locals and visitors alike to unwind. As you settle in, the aroma of freshly brewed matcha envelops you, hinting at the delicious treats that await.

Creamy & Crunchy specializes in a medley of vegan creations. Customers rave about the strong yet creamy matcha, which, as one reviewer, Amy Atkins, notes, “is ideal for people who love a strong matcha.” Whether you opt for the classic matcha latte with soy milk or venture to try the intriguingly flavorful cherry matcha with coconut milk, each sip delivers depth and satisfaction that will leave you craving more. For those with a penchant for sweetness, sugar is readily available, allowing you to customize your drink to your liking.

The food menu is an adventure in itself. Indulge in the exquisite Rosemary ANZAC biscuit or dig into the rich Gochujang Butter Bean Pie—a standout that draws rave reviews from patrons like Oliver Taylor, who found the vegan mince and cheese pie absolutely delicious. Each dish is crafted on-site, showcasing the café’s commitment to quality and freshness, a rarity in today's fast-paced world.

With prices that are remarkably affordable, Creamy & Crunchy doesn’t just cater to those with a sweet tooth or a love for matcha; it embraces anyone who appreciates good food made with care. Sopharath Eang describes it as “one of the best matcha latte” shops, underscoring its appeal among coffee aficionados.

The mantra of this café beautifully captures their essence: everything is vegan, yet packed with flavors that even non-vegans would find delightful! As Amy W enthusiastically points out, “you’d never even know by how tasty everything is.” And with every visit, you’re likely to be greeted by the cheerful staff, adding to the warmth of your experience. The service, as noted by multiple reviewers, is commendable, creating a relaxing environment that beckons you to stay a little longer.

In conclusion, Creamy & Crunchy is more than just a café—it’s a celebration of plant-based culinary creativity. Whether you're a local or just passing through Wellington, this charming spot at the corner of Cuba and Webb Street is a must-visit. Whether you indulge in their spectacular matcha offerings or treat yourself to their innovative pastries, every bite and sip is sure to make your day just a little bit brighter.

100% VEGAN Adore this tiny matcha bar in the CBD! Their matcha is creamy and a little bitter — ideal for people who love a strong matcha. Sugar is available for people with a sweet tooth. I’ve had their Rosemary ANZAC biscuit, Gochujang Butter Bean Pie, and classic matcha latte with soy milk. All very tasty and made on site, which is rather rare.

This is such a cute coffee and tea shop! The barista was very friendly and welcoming. Personally, we had one of the best matcha latte. The price for drinks and food are also affordable! Highly recommended for those who visit or live in Wellington.

Little cozy pop in place, that offers some cabinet food and barista drinks. Have ordered a very nice cherry matcha with coconut milk. The person serving was very lovely as well!

Love this place! The matcha is fantastic and the cherry compote is to die for the sourdough chocolate muffins are so decadent and every pie flavour I’ve tried has been amazing. And everything is vegan - you’d never even know by how tasty everything is. Also the service is amazing! Summer always has a smile on her face Recommend visiting this cute spot on the corner of cuba and webb street!

Great little coffee shop! Love the Korean and vegan theme, perfect for the kinda of people who frequent and live in the south Cuba street district. The vegan mince and cheese pie was delicious, and the cherry matcha was delicious & unique. I would highly recommend coming earlier in the day to enjoy this one with a friend or two, to sit in this intimate relaxing place.

I was surprised at how delicious all of the vegan cabinet foods were. When I choose vegan options at other places, I sometimes give up a bit on taste, but this cafe is sincere when it comes to taste! Plus, the coffee they roast themselves is delicious too. And matcha was the strongest I had in NZ. I recommend this place as it is small but full of flavour!

Summer who owns the business is from South Korea. Summer always greets her customers with a cheery smile and a ki ora. All her drinks great. Have trouble deciding what to have. Lovely music , atmosphere great. Real hive of activity. The food is to die for. Biggest pies in town and a good price and more delicious food to pick.
